A return to a full strenth squad saw Melton blast away their young opponents for its first win of the season.
Melton raced to a two set lead as a result of some strong hitting and consistent back court play.
The third set saw some of the less experienced players being blooded and it was good to see them hold their own for the majority of the set. Eventually though they succumbed and Lincoln pulled away to win the set 25:20
Melton were trailing in the fourth set by eight points before the beautiful people (Andy, Pete and Chris) came on and made a massive difference (on the court as well as in terms of the average age of the side!!)The side steadily overhauled Lincoln's lead and closed out the set for a well deserved victory.
